Permission settings

To make administration an easy task we have implemented a very simple permission system.

There are two types of users:

• Administrators: Users with the highest level of rights. Administrators manage users, permissions, folders structure, etc.
• Users: Users can up-, download, edit, move and comment on documents, generate reports and much more depending on the rights they have.

There are three types of folders:

• Top-level folder: These folders can be flexibly assigned permissions on a group basis (either in Group administration or in Folder administration).
• Subfolders: In subfolders the same permissions as in the corresponding top-level folder are effective.
• Inbox: Every user can up- and download files here.

Basically the following permissions can be granted to a group:

• Read
• Write
• Delete

Users can also have these special permissions:

• Create reports
• Folder administration
